Your collection in a new light

Safes with glass doors with bulletproof glass are like armored display cases for works of art. A solid, steel body and certified locks protect the deposited property against looting. The bulletproof glass installed in the door allows you to freely view the secured collection. In order to emphasize the display in this extraordinary collector's cabinet, it is worth installing internal lighting. LED strips are perfect here.

Three types of LED strips

Currently, we can distinguish three types of LED strips that can be used to illuminate the interior of a safe with a glass in the door. The simplest solution is a LED strip with white diodes with a specific color temperature. It is a strip whose color temperature cannot be changed, so before installation it should be decided whether the white light should be warm, cold or neutral. Installation of RGBW LED strips gives us more options, which allow mixing RGB colors or lighting with white color. The third, most advanced type of strips is RGBWW LED, which enables mixing RGB and white colors. In this case, using a dedicated remote control or smartphone application, you can choose not only any lighting color but also the white light temperature.

Switch like in a refrigerator or controlled by a smartphone

The second of the choices regarding the method of lighting the armored cabinet is how the light is switched on or what it will be changed. The simplest solution will be a switch installed outside the side wall or a mechanical switch that is activated when the door is opened (as in a refrigerator). This option will work when using LED strip lighting with constant white light, which does not require adjustment. RGB LED strips and RGBWW LEDs require more advanced control. In this case, we can use drivers that enable remote switching on and modification of the light using a dedicated remote control or a smartphone, after installing the appropriate application.
